One corporate booking. 250 animals in a single afternoon. Every document in this course came out of running it.
The station set up on a lawn at an event venue, with signage on an easel. The stuffing machine, filled, standing on grass beside the table. A printed care card in a brass holder on a wooden tray. Wooden trays of fabric wish hearts and hair bows.

What you'd actually be selling

Four minutes a child remembers for years.

This is the whole product. It's simple enough to run twenty times in an afternoon and good enough that parents book it a year out.

02 They make a wish on a heart

03 They stuff it themselves

04 They name it and take it home

Then a parent films the whole thing and posts it, which is how the next booking usually finds you.

The part nobody films

The idea is the easy part.

You already know the concept works. You've watched a room of kids go quiet while one of them makes a wish on a satin heart, and you've watched a parent film the whole thing.

What nobody shows you is the six weeks between deciding to do it and being able to take a booking.

It's building a spreadsheet to work out what one finished animal costs you, then realizing you forgot to spread the freight across the order. It's three evenings on package tiers, then discovering a customer can buy your small package with add-on guests and get your medium package cheaper. It's staring at a first inquiry from a real parent with no idea what to write back.

None of that is the business. It's the scaffolding you have to build before the business can start — and almost all of it has one right answer somebody has already worked out.

We worked it out the expensive way. The run sheet exists because we forgot something at an event. The pricing checker exists because a customer found a hole in our own packages before we did.

Why this exists

Avery was pregnant with twins and wanted something of her own.

Not another job. Income that fit around a family, and a business we could eventually hand to someone else to run on event days.

So we researched it, and then we got it wrong. We ordered the wrong things. We priced the first package badly. We found out what a supplier lead time does to a launch date you've already told people about.

Make & Keep is what came out the other side — a dialed-in operation that books real venues and corporate clients.

This course is the version we wish someone had handed us at the start. Every mistake is already paid for.

The Resource Vault

26 documents.

Five of them actually calculate.

Not blank templates and not pictures of spreadsheets. Every file is fillable: you type into the PDFs, the spreadsheets do the math. Nine sections, organized the way the work actually happens.

The Cost Calculator spreadsheet, showing its numbered sections.

Cost Calculator

What one finished animal costs by the time a guest walks out holding it — freight and duties spread across the order included, which is the line everyone forgets.

The Package Builder spreadsheet with its pricing-ladder check.

Package Builder

Tells you whether a customer can reach your bigger package more cheaply by buying the smaller one and adding guests. A broken ladder is invisible until someone finds it.

The Event-Day Run Sheet timeline page.

Event-Day Run Sheet

Thirty-seven fillable fields: what to settle before you load the van, a seven-stage timeline in your own times, and what to do when something goes sideways.

The Event Packing Checklist across its categories.

Packing Checklist

A hundred and two checkboxes across seven categories. Work it the night before and you stop discovering things in a stranger's driveway.

Week one of the 30-Day Launch Calendar.

30-Day Launch Calendar

One clear action a day for thirty days. You stop opening Instagram wondering what to post.

A scope page from the Corporate Proposal Template.

Corporate Proposal

Branded for your business, not ours — and built to be forwarded to a manager who wasn't on the call, because that's what always happens.

Every document in the Resource Vault, page one of each, laid out together.
Every file in the vault. Not a sample — all of it. You'll read them once you're in.

The course

Eleven modules, in the order the work happens.

Not the order a curriculum designer would choose. Most lessons run one to three minutes, because the goal was getting you to a booking, not hitting a runtime.

Honestly

This suits some people and not others.

It's for you if

  • You'd rather do the work than read about the work
  • You want something of your own that fits around your family
  • You'd take a finished spreadsheet over a blank one
  • You're willing to be the person in the room making it fun

It isn't if

  • You want it running itself from day one — hiring someone to work events comes later, after you've run a few yourself
  • You're hoping to skip the part where you stand in front of twenty children
  • You want a guaranteed outcome — we don't promise one, and nobody honest can
  • You won't spend anything on equipment before your first event

Before you ask

The questions that actually stop people.

How much do I need to start?

It depends almost entirely on your machine and the size of your opening order, and both vary a lot. Rather than quote a number that would be wrong for you, Module 2 includes a Startup Budget Calculator: you put in real quotes and it totals your actual number before you spend anything.

Do I need a big vehicle?

You need to move a machine, bins of animals and materials, a table and signage. We do it with a dolly and a strap. Module 3 covers what the kit actually consists of so you can measure it against what you drive before you commit to anything.

What if someone already does this near me?

Then you know there's demand, which is more than most people starting a business have. Module 4 is about building a brand that doesn't look like theirs, and Module 9 covers corporate work, which is where most local operators aren't looking.

How long until I could run one?

Supplier lead times usually decide this, not you. Plush and custom printed pieces can take weeks. Module 1 has you pick a target launch date and work backward from it, and Module 3 covers lead times so your date is based on something real.

Do I need to be crafty or good on camera?

No. The machine does the hard part, and the experience is a sequence you run rather than a skill you perform. You do need to be comfortable leading a room of children for an hour, and that part we can't do for you.

Can I ask you questions once I'm in?

Yes. Every lesson has comments and we answer them there. We'd rather do it that way than by email — your question and our answer stay attached to the lesson they're about, so the next person stuck on the same thing finds it already answered.

What's not included?

No contracts, no liability waiver and no insurance policy. Requirements vary by state, city, venue and policy, so Module 10 teaches you the vocabulary, the questions to ask and what venues typically request — then sends you to your own broker and attorney. Anyone selling you a one-size legal document for this doesn't know your state.

Also not included: the equipment, the inventory, and your time.
